A Proud Legacy Carrier

I’m sure many of you are aware by now that Binet had a successful surgery in Mauritius on Thursday April 10th.

I would like to thank all those who made the surgery a possibility - particularly br. Mohammed Adus who managed to communicate with those who were responsible for providing this surgery.

Also, special thanks to brother Abdi Sabri in the USA, Dr. Omar Abdulwadud in Australia, and br. Adil Abdella in Germany for working actively to find hospitals to sponsor Binet in their respective localities.

A special thanks to the brother who purchased tickets for binet and her father, as well as for the Harari community in Australia who sent a generous donation to assist the family. As well us to web providers and radio stations for publicizing Binet’s case. Also, special thanks to countless Hararis around the globe for pledging and donating funds, as well as for praying for binet.

The momentum should be maintained to help others who are in similar conditions, yet who remain unheard of and unknown in Ethiopia. The discusssions that are being held to create a formal organization to assist those that are in dire circumstances should come to fruition soon - insha’Allah.

The double successes in the case of Naema and Binet goes to show one more time, if we put aside our useless bickering we can achieve many more successes that will benefit our people and our beloved nation.
