There will be a meeting today, July 29th, between the delegates and government officials of the State of Georgia.

Unfortunately the President of the Harari Regional State, the Hon. Fuad Ibrahim, will not be at the meeting. He is
heading back to Ethiopia today due to urgent matters.

The Delegation's Meeting in Georgia a Success
July 29, 2005

The meeting between the Harari delegation and various government officials of the State of
Georgia was concluded with positive results.

The Harari delegation led by Mayor Zeydan Bekri and Member of Ethiopia?s Parliament Merwan Bedri

Also, administrators from the University of Georgia pledged to train Harari administration officials in
Harar in leadership and management skills, and to also give scholarship to students from Harar.

This meeting was arranged by Shaikh Salahadin Wazir of Atlanta, Georgia. More in-depth information
about this historic meeting, which could have a profound impact in the development of the Harari
Regional State, will be posted as they become available.
