" All kinds of virtuous deeds and (even) Jihad in the way of God when compared to the duty of al amr bil ma'roof wa nahy an al munkar (commanding others to do what is right and forbidding them from doing evil) are no more than spittle into the fathomless ocean . Indeed, the two duties, of commanding to do good and forbidding from evil, do not allow the death (of people and civilisations) to come near them and do not allow them to be cut off from their sources of nourishment (rizq). And over and above all of these is uttering the word of justice in front of a tyrant. "

Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS)
