Alla yebarkesh/kh.

Inay Gabata nasra'. Akashuw weldibe azow rizkibe yeshelmekhu.
Tey zilebestiw Aye, nachih zilebesaw awe...

Subahana Rabika, Rabil Izetu ama yesifuna wasalamu Alaikum...

I think harari prayers are beautiful. You just have to greet a person and they shower you with blessings..

any more?

Origianl, I have the semi translation,

Inay gabata is something that is done for aruzit. I can't remember what the something is, maybe a special dish? that it is done for the lady during a wedding. Someone else can elaborate. please? So, basically, if a girl is single, they would say, inay gabata nasra'. wishing you to get married.

And when you get married, "akashuw weldibe, azow rezkibe yeshelmekhu, is may you be blessed with children, and the man with wealth. become the "ideal" family.

And the subhana Rabika part follows most prayers, saying Praise be the Almighty, who makes every thing possible etc.

What do you think?

Learned something new.

Inay Gabata is something quite interesting. Its to celebrate aruzit's virginity. In harar, they make special "tuftuf"(crep) for breakfast . Everyone gets to eat it except the aruzit. In Addis, they cook something else, maybe ruz. I forgot. Interesting huh.
